About Lifetracker
Lifetracker is a GPS GSM device which is designed to locate a person who wanders within minutes, within metres when they wear their Lifetracker. Authorised carers or family members can locate the person who wanders with an SMS from their mobile phone. Depending upon their mobile they will receive the location of the person as SMS or GPRS (coordinates or visual map). Anywhere where there is mobile reception you should be able to locate your Lifetracker.
Lifetracker has been developed to be Do It Yourself (DIY) and be very user friendly. However, if your don't want to DIY we do offer an optional 24/7 Service Centre Contract (a nominal fee applies please refer to order page) where our staff can do it all for you when you phone us.
Lifetracker's primary function is to locate, however there are additional capabilities.
Lifetracker capabilities:
- Locate: SMS to locate Lifetracker wearer within minutes, within metres
- SOS (Personal Alarm): when the SOS button is pushed an Alert SMS goes to primary carer, who can then communicate through the two way microphone to ascertain if they need to send an ambulance to the location
- Boundary Alert: carer receives an alert message when the Lifetracker wearer crosses the boundary the carer has set. Carer can adjust the boundary with a simple SMS. This function can help reduce stress and worry when travelling, or going on outings with the Lifetracker wearer. Similarly, you may want to reduce the boundary, if the person is prone to wandering unexpectedly during the night but have a much larger boundary for daytime so that they can maintain their normal routine of shopping, walking etc.
- Microphone: allows carer to talk to the Lifetracker wearer
- Body Connector: the ankle and waist connectors are our secure way to wear the Lifetracker
- Maintenance Alerts: Battery Low, Open Device Warning etc
- Waterproof: Lifetracker is now waterproof

Lifetracker is designed to be Do It Yourself (DIY). However, there is a Lifetracker Service Centre contract is available for a nominal additional fee for those clients who do not wish to DIY.
The Lifetracker Service Centre can do for you the tracking, technical support, calling emergency services if required etc.
Lifetracker costs $289 including GST + Delivery Charges. This price includes the following:
